If you’re looking to move to one of Big Hill’s neighborhoods, I couldn’t recommend them enough! The quality of their work and attention to detail is better than any new construction I’ve come across. My husband and I both agree on that and he has an extensive background in real estate. We were the first to move into Victoria Hills, about three months ago. We’ve never had an issue with the construction going on, all around us. When you’re inside the home, you can’t hear a peep. When we’re outside in the yard (and we’re outside a lot), everyone is respectful of our space. We now have neighbors and from what I’ve been told, everyone agrees. We do have to specifically shout out Serge and Petr. Any help we’ve needed, question we’ve had, etc. they have been on top of it immediately and have always made us feel so special to be apart of their neighborhood. This review is for the Big Hills project manager, Danny G.  We were one of the first to move into Mills River South.  We shared many experiences and surprises with the project manager.  Danny was there for us throughout the process of repairing high levels of Radon, flickering light bulbs, water in the crawl space walls, hole in the roof into the attic, leaky gutters and downspouts and replacing our dead cherry tree. Danny cares about the neighborhood and did his best to satisfy our expectations.  He was always available by phone, professional, pleasant and had a calming presence. Big Hills Construction under the direction of our Project Manager, Dan Gagea, built a very beautiful, functional and very high end home for us for a fair and reasonable price. Dan was always there when we needed him. He was extremely helpful and we felt made decisions that was for our best interests. He put us at ease. When adjustments, changes, fixes and or any corrections needed to be done, he was on top of it. We settled on the house and he is still with us making the always fixes and adjustments from the punch list, making sure we are completely satisfied. We love and greatly appreciate the quality and construction of our home. Big Hills designed and built the home with excellent craftsmanship and great attention to detail. Danny G is a fantastic project manager and oversaw our home development and warranty process with great responsiveness, professionalism, and care. He addressed any questions and issues that arose quickly and effectively and ensured that all elements of our house adhered to the highest standards. He is a tremendous asset. I represented buyers who purchased a home under construction.  Danny was responsive to their questions and mine throughout the months long process, and worked diligently to make sure every last detail was taken care of so the buyers would be very pleased at the walk-through.

We were looking to buy a house in Mills River and looked at several houses in different developments.  After looking at Mills River Crossing South there was no doubt that was the neighborhood for us. We were impressed with the quality of the home and all the upgrades to these beautiful homes. Although all home prices are very high right now we felt these homes were the best value for the money compared to similar homes in our area. Beautiful home. Fabulous community. Big Hills Construction went the extra distance to make this a true custom home for us. The project lead, Danny G., “moved mountains” to get us in the house 6 weeks before the expected completion date and has worked tirelessly to make sure the finishes were just the way we wanted. We couldn’t be happier.
